From Bristol to Boise with Faith

 From Tom: I was having difficulty getting pages to load on my browser, so I called IT. They asked if I had tried disabling cookies.  From Doris: Our family has walked 991.73 miles to Bristol. My niece auditioned for and was accepted as a member of the Tabernacle Choir. Two new stores, Nordstrom Rack and Barnes and Noble, opened in Meridian. A Chik Fil A is being built in Eagle. The orchid my friend gave me for my birthday in early October continues to thrive.  All we do is give it indirect sunlight and three ice cubes once a week.  We have some bonsai sprouts. One day Lachlan pulled one out of its container and brought it to me telling me he had pulled up a weed. Paul replanted the bonsai “weed” and it is still growing. Eating more protein has adversely affected my GI tract.  I am working to discover how much protein I can eat without getting stomach cramps.

From Doris: I am grateful for the gift of the Holy Ghost.  Many times, I lack wisdom in this cancer journey.  I know I am getting direction as I seek for it in prayer. I followed my oncologist’s direction and got a flu shot and a COVID shot.  As I expected, my arms became more sore, but they didn’t hurt as much as I expected they would. My Primary care physician asked me to meet with her to discuss the results of my CT scan. Her focus was on my overall health, not just my cancer.  She gave me a prescription for Celebrex which has helped lessen my pain without affecting my liver or kidneys. My friend DeeAnn brought me some flowers and chocolates and visited for a while.  Amy came two weeks ago when she could see our colorful leaves.  This week many of the trees are bare. We had a video chat with most of our children yesterday.  I love being able to see them all at the same time. Paul is patient with me and is a very kind caregiver. Thank...
