Counting Blessings

I am grateful for the gift of the Holy Ghost.  Many times, I lack wisdom in this cancer journey.  I know I am getting direction as I seek for it in prayer.

I followed my oncologist’s direction and got a flu shot and a COVID shot.  As I expected, my arms became more sore, but they didn’t hurt as much as I expected they would.

My Primary care physician asked me to meet with her to discuss the results of my CT scan. Her focus was on my overall health, not just my cancer.  She gave me a prescription for Celebrex which has helped lessen my pain without affecting my liver or kidneys.

My friend DeeAnn brought me some flowers and chocolates and visited for a while. 

Amy came two weeks ago when she could see our colorful leaves.  This week many of the trees are bare.

We had a video chat with most of our children yesterday.  I love being able to see them all at the same time.

Paul is patient with me and is a very kind caregiver.

Thanksgiving is just around the corner. I love Thanksgiving!
