Counting my blessings

Kyle’s family came over on Saturday, and I got to hold Ewan.  He is a precious little boy.

Kyle received permission from his bishop to give Ewan a name and a blessing at our home this afternoon. It was a special experience. This would normally have been done in Kyle’s sacrament meeting.

Greer came over Friday evening and helped put family photographs back on our walls.  Paul went to an organ concert at the Cathedral of the Rockies in downtown Boise where Richard Elliot was the organist.

The color of autumn leaves is almost at its peak. I love going outside. The fall beauty nearly takes my breath away.

Paul and I went on four walks this week.

My quilt cabinet is back in the family room and is filled with quilts.

We brought up boxes of items for the hutch from the basement and filled up the hutch.

Amy is coming to visit us in a couple of weeks.

Two friends came to visit me this week.

I was able to attend the first part of our sacrament meeting today.
